Run the 2010 NYC Marathon under the Project Main St banner

Participants in the 2010 NYC Marathon are invited to run under the Project Main St banner to support Project Main St and raise ALS Awareness. The team will be featured in our annual fall fundraising drive. There is no cost to runners and 100% of the funds raised will be used to support individuals living with ALS. John Muir Trail / Mt. Whitney Challenge to benefit Project Main St. raises $25,000.

Project Main St. supporters, Jason Gandy and Siobhan Towey, completed a 17 day, 200 mile hike & climb in September to help raise $25,000 for ALS patients in need. Project Main St. immediately distributed grants to 8 individuals living with ALS for medical equipment, home healthcare assistance, emergency living expenses & more.

Tim Sheehy: The Artist- An Exhibition

Selected works of art by Project Main St. founder Tim Sheehy will be on display for one day only at Composition Workshop in Redhook, Brooklyn. A limited number of prints will be available for purchase. All proceeds from sales and donations will benefit Project Main St. Complimentary wine and beer will be served.     The evening will feature a casual tasting of wines from around the world with experts from Acker Merrall & Condit, live music by the Julliard School and a silent auction featuring a diverse range of high profile and emerging artists. Several artists will be present, creating original works of art, available for bid. Plus: Hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, additional auction items and a live performance by The Elixir Opera Company.
